Privacy Policy

Your privacy is the whole point.

PornAlert helps protect your digital life without turning your private life into data. Core protection checks happen locally whenever possible, and we do not collect or sell browsing history, passwords, messages, screenshots, or personal content.

Last updated: 29 June 2026 Effective: 29 June 2026 App: PornAlert - Porn Blocker (Android)

Privacy summary

PornAlert is a productivity, content protection, and accountability tool. It is designed to detect restricted content and bypass attempts without collecting a profile of you. Most protection checks are performed on your device, and temporary screen or app context used for detection is discarded after the check is complete.

Local-first protection

Detection keywords, app checks, browser checks, and protection rules run locally whenever possible.

No private-content collection

We do not collect browsing history, passwords, messages, screenshots, files, or personal content.

Limited Google services

We use Google Play Billing, AdMob for free users, UMP consent, Firebase services, In-App Review, and In-App Updates.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how the PornAlert mobile application ("PornAlert", the "App", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you install and use it on your Android device. PornAlert is published by Abhin Shah, based in India.

By installing or using PornAlert, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What we don't collect or sell

This section comes first because it matters most. We understand many people use PornAlert for private reasons such as recovery, accountability, parenting, or focus. PornAlert does not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or trade:

  • Your browsing history or the URLs you visit.
  • Passwords, payment details, messages, chats, photos, files, contacts, or personal content.
  • Screenshots, screen recordings, or copies of what appears on your screen.
  • The exact adult keywords, pages, searches, or restricted content that triggered a block.
  • Your name, email address, phone number, precise location, or contact list.
  • Personal content for advertising, profiling, model training, or resale.

We do not require account creation. We do not maintain user profiles. PornAlert does not operate a backend service that stores your browsing or protection activity.

3. Current app features covered by this policy

PornAlert includes the following protection and app-management features:

  • Accessibility Service: enables real-time detection and intervention when you explicitly turn it on.
  • Content Protection: detects pornography, adult, and restricted content using local rules where possible.
  • Browser Protection: monitors supported web browsers and in-app browsers for restricted searches or pages.
  • Restricted Apps: lets you choose which apps receive adult and restricted content monitoring.
  • Focus Lock: temporarily blocks access until the selected timer ends, unless an emergency exit flow is completed.
  • Network Protection: detects VPN, Proxy, and Private DNS bypass attempts for selected apps.
  • DNS Protection: helps you configure family-safe Private DNS and monitor if DNS settings are changed or bypassed.
  • Prevent App Uninstall: uses Android device-admin and Accessibility-supported checks to help prevent removal when enabled.
  • Prevent Reboot: detects reboot or restart attempts and displays the protection flow when enabled.
  • Google Play Billing: manages subscriptions and premium entitlement.
  • Google AdMob: displays ads for free users only.
  • Google UMP Consent: collects legally required ad-consent choices where applicable.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: collects crash diagnostics to help fix stability issues.

  • Firebase Firestore: stores child-protection waitlist submissions when you choose to join the waitlist.
  • Google Play In-App Review: may show Google Play review prompts.
  • Google Play In-App Updates: may prompt you to update the App through Google Play.

Premium features are the ad-free experience, Prevent App Uninstall, Prevent Reboot, and Network Protection. DNS Protection is available to all users.

4. Accessibility Service disclosure

Important: PornAlert uses Android's Accessibility Service only after you explicitly enable it. Android requires this permission for real-time content protection because it allows the App to understand visible app, browser, and system-screen context needed to detect restricted content, bypass attempts, uninstall attempts, reboot attempts, and Focus Lock interruptions.

When enabled, the Accessibility Service may technically allow the App to observe visible text, app and browser context, screen transitions, and user-interface events. PornAlert uses this access only to apply protection rules you enabled. Processing happens locally whenever possible. Matching information is used for the current check and is not stored as browsing history or sold to anyone. The App may store a limited local blocked-event record, such as package name, reason, and time, so the Activity screen can show recent protection events.

We do not use the Accessibility Service to:

  • Record, upload, store, or sell your screen content, browsing history, messages, or personal content.
  • Read passwords, payment details, private messages, photos, files, or contacts.
  • Build advertising profiles or share blocked keywords, browsing activity, or app activity with advertisers.
  • Train machine-learning models using your screen content.

You can disable Accessibility Service access at any time from Android Settings > Accessibility > PornAlert. If you disable it, features that depend on Accessibility may stop working. PornAlert also shows an in-app prominent disclosure and consent screen before you enable this permission.

5. Information the App processes

The App uses the following information only as needed to provide protection and app functionality:

7. Third-party services

The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

Review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy and Google's advertising data practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

DNS provider note: DNS Protection may recommend third-party Private DNS providers: Cloudflare Family, AdGuard Family, and NextDNS. PornAlert does not operate these DNS services and does not receive DNS queries handled by those providers. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Ads and personalized advertising

Free users may see banner, interstitial, app-open, or other Google AdMob ads. Premium users never see ads in PornAlert while their premium entitlement is active. Ads served in PornAlert are general-audience ads and must not contain adult content.

To be clear: PornAlert does not share blocked keywords, blocked pages, browsing activity, screen content, Restricted Apps selections, Focus Lock activity, or protection triggers with Google AdMob or any advertiser.

Google AdMob may process device information, the Android Advertising ID (AAID), approximate location derived from IP address, ad impressions, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. Depending on your settings and applicable law, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and other regions where required, PornAlert uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage consent choices before serving personalized ads. You can change your consent choice inside the App where available.

9. Subscriptions and Google Play Billing

PornAlert offers optional premium features through subscriptions processed by Google Play Billing. Premium features are: an ad-free experience, Prevent App Uninstall, Prevent Reboot, and Network Protection. DNS Protection is available to all users and does not require premium access.

Google may process purchase identifiers, order details, subscription status, and payment information under Google Play's terms. We never receive or store your full payment-card number. The App uses subscription status only to enable, disable, restore, or manage premium features.

10. Data storage, retention, and deletion

PornAlert does not require account creation. Your settings, selected apps, protection preferences, and local app state are stored on your device and remain there until you change them, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App.

You can delete locally stored App data at any time by:

  • Resetting individual settings or toggles inside the App.
  • Clearing the App's storage in Android Settings > Apps > PornAlert > Storage.
  • Uninstalling the App to remove locally stored data from your device.

Ad data and consent data processed by Google AdMob and Google UMP are retained according to Google's policies and your consent choices. Crash diagnostics are retained according to Firebase Crashlytics settings and Google's Firebase policies. Remote Config fetch data is handled by Firebase Remote Config. Purchase records are handled by Google Play Billing under Google Play's policies. Waitlist submissions are retained until they are no longer needed to notify users about Child Protection or until you request deletion where applicable. Support emails are retained as long as needed to respond to you and comply with legal obligations.

For privacy questions or to request deletion of any data we may hold, such as a support email exchange, contact app.pb@justcodenow.com. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days unless a different period is required by applicable law.

11. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share limited information only when necessary:

  • With Google AdMob, Google UMP, Google Play Billing, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, Firebase Firestore, Google Play In-App Review, and Google Play In-App Updates to deliver the services described in this policy.
  • With your email provider and our support inbox if you contact us.
  • When required by law, court order, or other valid legal process.
  • To protect our rights, safety, property, users, or the public where legally permitted.
  • In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, with notice where required.

12. Security

PornAlert intentionally limits data collection and keeps protection processing local whenever possible. We rely on Android platform protections, local app storage controls, and the security practices of Google services used for ads, consent, billing, crash diagnostics, remote configuration, waitlist storage, reviews, and updates. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. International transfers

If you contact support, your message may also be processed by email service providers outside your country. These transfers are subject to the protections offered by those services and applicable law.

16. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the App, Google Play, or other appropriate channels as required by law or platform policy.
